COD Policy/Note - Fake Orders

At Kockatoo, we understand the convenience of Cash on Delivery (COD) for our customers. However, to ensure a smooth experience for everyone and to prevent misuse, we have outlined the following guidelines for COD orders:

1. COD Availability

  • COD Limit: COD is available for orders up to ₹3,000.
  • Service Charge: A nominal fee of ₹150 may apply to COD orders.

2. Order Confirmation

  • All COD orders will require a verification call or SMS/email confirmation before being processed. Unverified orders will not be dispatched.

3. Fake Orders or Misuse

  • Placing a COD order and refusing delivery without valid reasons disrupts our operations and causes unnecessary costs. To combat fake orders:
    • Customers who refuse to accept COD orders repeatedly may face restrictions on placing future COD orders.
    • Such accounts may be flagged, and further action may be taken at our discretion.

4. Cancellation Policy for COD Orders

  • You can cancel your COD order before it is dispatched by contacting our support team.
  • Once the order is dispatched, cancellation requests will not be entertained.

5. Penalty for Refused Orders

  • If a COD order is refused without valid reasons, the account may be temporarily or permanently restricted from using COD as a payment option.
  • The return shipping cost for refused orders may also be charged to the customer.

6. Transition to Prepaid

  • To ensure a hassle-free shopping experience, we encourage customers to choose prepaid payment options. Prepaid orders often qualify for exclusive discounts and faster processing.

7. Terms of Service

  • By placing a COD order, you agree to comply with this policy and accept that Kockatoo reserves the right to deny COD service to customers who misuse the facility.
